It therefore fits the clamp of almost any Arca compatible tripod head, including those from 3 Legged Thing. At one end there is a slot to run a strap through.QD and XPAND connectionsThe plate holds a QD socket with a stainless steel rim, into which you clip an AXIS strap with a QD swivel. It also carries the patented XPAND connector from 3 Legged Thing, which joins the plate to XPAND cheese plates, risers and connectors. The connector extends outwards, so your accessory sits further away from the camera.Camera screw and rubber padThe plate is fixed with a stainless steel 1/4" 20 camera screw that you tighten with a coin. The screw sits in a long slot, so you can slide the plate forwards or backwards and the battery door on most cameras stays accessible. Rubber pads on the top keep the camera in place and stop it twisting.Rear edge and security pinsThe rear edge is sloped, so you do not run into the plate on a camera with a flip screen.
