The Lens Hood Kit is purpose built for the Leica Summicron M 35mm f/2 ASPH (Type II, 2016+). The fit follows the lens shape precisely, so the hood sits firmly and optically aligned on the lens. Measuring 5.94 x 6.79 x 3.05 cm (cap on) and weighing only 57.68 g, your setup stays compact and easy to carry.
Twist lock bayonet for a precise fit
The kit consists of a threaded adapter ring that screws directly onto the lens, plus a hood that locks onto the adapter via a twist lock bayonet connection. As a result, the hood always sits in perfect alignment and detaches in a single motion â a sense of precision and quality in keeping with the Leica experience.
Protection against stray light and impact

Compatible with thin frame filters
The adapter ring accepts thin frame ND, UV or CPL filters. Variable ND filters and stacked filters are not recommended, as they may interfere with the slim fit and optical performance. ,
