Fotobatohy.cz at Foto Fest Plzeň: meeting you in person and introducing SAKK

On Sunday, 4 October 2026, we met you at Foto Fest in Plzeň’s TechTower. We brought equipment from our online shop for you to take a closer look at, along with a brand we wanted to introduce in person. Our stand marked SAKK’s first in-person introduction to Czech photographers and video creators.

Why is meeting you in person important to us?

Will my kit fit inside? Will the backpack sit comfortably on my back? And will I be able to reach my camera easily while I’m out on a trip? Choosing equipment can raise plenty of questions. Dimensions and photos in our online shop can help, but some things are easiest to judge when you have the product in your hands.

That’s why taking part in events like this matters to us. We want to give you a chance to look at the build quality, try out what works for you, and talk through your options based on what you enjoy photographing and how you like to shoot. A short walk with a single camera calls for different gear than a full day out with several lenses.

SAKK: its first in-person introduction to the Czech market

Foto Fest gave us the opportunity to introduce you to SAKK and its equipment for photographers and filmmakers. As well as carrying your gear, SAKK focuses on making filming itself easier. That’s why a camera saddle also had a place on our stand.

What exactly is a camera saddle? It’s a soft, mouldable support that you rest your camera on. You can use it for shots close to the ground, for example, or as a support on your lap when filming while seated. It supports your setup and helps reduce small vibrations. With equipment like this, an in-person demonstration makes it easier to understand how it works and when it might be useful to you.

Thank you for stopping by our stand

We’re glad we could bring Fotobatohy.cz off the screen and meet you in person. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, took a look at the equipment or came to chat with us about photography.

Below the article, you’ll find our photos of the stand. If any of the products caught your eye, or you’re still wondering what would suit your setup, get in touch. We’ll be happy to help you choose.
