The bluetooth option lets you take photos, video, adjust focus, zoom in and out and the C1 or AF ON function from a distance of 10 metres. You can set all the buttons on the remote to LOCK so they are locked, this prevents you from accidentally clicking anything while filming. The remote control is powered by a CR2032 button battery (included) this allows it to last a very long time.
