The Urth Sony FE 24/40/50mm G Lens Hood Kit is an aluminium lens hood set for select Sony G series lenses and the Zeiss Sonnar 55mm. The snap on bayonet mount lets you click the hood onto the lens tool free, while the built in adapter ensures a secure, perfectly aligned fit. The slim 6063 aluminium construction protects against stray light, impact and the elements.

Multi lens compatibility
One kit, multiple lenses: the Lens Hood Kit fits the Sony FE 24mm G, FE 40mm G and FE 50mm G, as well as the fixed lens of the Sony RX1R III and the Zeiss Sonnar T* FE 55mm f/1.8 ZA. As a result, you can use the same hood across different combinations within your Sony system, without buying a separate one for each lens.
Snap on bayonet
The hood comes with a snap on bayonet mount. A simple press is enough: the hood clicks into place and sits in perfect alignment with the lens. No tools, no threads â switching between stowed and shooting takes seconds.
Protection against stray light and impact
The hood shields against unwanted stray light and flare, giving you higher contrast results in backlit conditions. At the same time it acts as a first line of defence against impact and the elements â useful when carrying a compact Sony setup on location or working in busy environments.
Slim 6063 aluminium design
The kit is machined from 6063 aluminium, an alloy that offers a strong balance between strength and weight. The Lens Hood Kit weighs just 48.15 g and measures 7.27 x 6.57 x 2.39 cm (cap on), preserving the slim profile of compact full frame setups. It is available in silver and black to match your body and lens finish.
Compatible with thin frame filters
The bayonet accepts thin frame ND, UV or CPL filters. Variable ND filters and stacked filters are not recommended, as they may interfere with the slim fit and optical performance. ,
