The Ulanzi FOLD QS80 Standard Bowens Mount Softbox 80cm is an octagonal quick release softbox with an 80 cm opening and a standard Bowens mount. Thanks to its foldable design, the softbox opens in a single motion and folds flat again after the shoot. Perfect light diffusion
The silver nylon reflective fabric inside makes the most of your flash or LED light and spreads it evenly through the front diffusion cloth. The result is soft, true to life lighting at a working distance of 2 to 3 metres â ideal for portraits, product shots and vlogs that need flattering, even illumination.
Press to use: ready in seconds
The quick release mechanism makes setup virtually effortless. One press and the softbox snaps open into its octagonal shape; after the shoot you fold it flat again in just a few movements. Collapsed, the QS80 measures 80 x 25 cm and weighs only 0.65 kg, so it takes up minimal space on location or in your camera bag.
Standard Bowens mount
The QS80 features a standard Bowens mount via a detachable adapter ring. As a result, the softbox fits virtually all common studio flashes and LED lights with this mount, including models such as the Ulanzi VL120II and VL220. The detachable ring also lets you swap the mount for a different mount system if your setup calls for it.
Honeycomb grid and diffusion cloth
A honeycomb grid is included alongside the diffusion cloth. With it you can tighten the beam and reduce light spill â useful when you want to direct the light precisely or keep a background dark. Both accessories attach with hook and loop fasteners, making them quick to swap during a shoot.
Compact and portable
The flat collapsed format fits in the supplied long carry bag, making the QS80 easy to take on location. Ideal for photographers and videographers who travel often and don't want to compromise on light quality.,
