The 3 Legged Thing QD7 Long Quick Release Plate is an Arca Swiss compatible long quick release plate with two built in QD sockets for use with the 3 Legged Thing AXIS strap system. The plate also works with any tripod or clamp that takes a standard Arca Swiss fit plate.

Design and materials
The plate is built from aerospace grade magnesium alloy with stainless steel fittings and rubber pads on the top. It measures 38 x 60 x 10 mm (1.5 x 2.36 x 0.39 inch) and weighs 41 g (1.45 oz).
Quick detach system
The two built in QD sockets allow an AXIS strap with QD swivel to be clicked directly into the plate. This makes it possible to switch between carrying on an AXIS strap and mounting on a tripod or Arca Swiss clamp in seconds.


Camera attachment
The plate is mounted to the camera with the supplied stainless steel 1/4" 20 screw. The rubber pads on the top hold the camera base securely and help prevent rotation during use. ,
