The 3 Legged Thing QDPD4 Quick Release Plate (PD) is an Arca Swiss and Peak Design Capture compatible quick release plate with a built in QD socket. The plate is designed for Peak Design Capture clip users who also use an AXIS camera strap.

Design and materials
The plate is built from aerospace grade magnesium alloy with stainless steel fittings and rubber pads on the top. It measures 38 x 38 x 11 mm (1.5 x 1.5 x 0.43 inch) and weighs 26 g (0.92 oz).


Quick detach system
The central QD socket allows an AXIS strap with QD swivel to be clicked directly into the plate, so carrying on an AXIS strap and mounting on a tripod or clamp can be swapped in seconds.


Compatibility
The dovetail shaping on the base fits standard 38 mm Arca Swiss tripods and clamps as well as Peak Design products with Capture mechanism. The same plate can therefore be used with the AXIS system, an Arca Swiss clamp and a PD Capture clip.


Camera attachment
The plate is mounted to the camera with the supplied stainless steel 1/4" 20 screw. The rubber pads on the top hold the camera base securely and help prevent rotation during use.,
