The 3 Legged Thing Ultra Clamp with QD4XP Plate DARKNESS is an Arca Swiss compatible clamp that can be operated with both a lever and a twist knob. The clamp has a square 38 x 38 mm base, a 3/8" 16 accessory thread, and ships with the XPAND QD4 quick release plate.

Dual action clamp
The Ultra Clamp combines a lever and a twist knob in a single clamp. Tension can be set with the knurled knob or engaged in a single motion with the lever, with no tools required.
Arca Swiss base and mounting
The square 38 x 38 mm Arca Swiss compatible base fits into any Arca Swiss head in four directions, also allowing L bracket users to mount fully vertically. A 3/8" 16 thread turns the clamp into a quick release hub for accessories such as monitors, magic arms and lights. The clamp is also compatible with standard ball head cross mounts.
Safety and precision
The Ultra Clamp has a built in security catch that prevents accidental releases and recessed security pin slots for safety pins on compatible plates. Precision measurement markings support accurate positioning and repeatability.
XPAND QD4 quick release plate
The clamp ships with the XPAND QD4 quick release plate: a 38 mm (1.5 in) Arca Swiss compatible quick release plate with a built in QD socket for the 3LT AXIS Camera Strap System and two XPAND connector slots. The plate has a rubber pad on top for a secure connection with the camera and is supplied with a stainless steel 1/4" 20 camera screw.,
