In comparison to sun hoods with a bayonet mount, the Caruba HB 45 II is easy and quick to mount to the objective by pressing the two pressure points on the sides of the sun hood.

This sun hood doesn't fit on the Nikkor AF S DX 18 55mm f/3.5 5.6G VR Type II objective. You need the HB 69 for this.,
